Opened Yamamoto Yogyo Shoten in Osaka City, a commercial business for the sale and installation of brick and ceramic tiles
1953
Granted patent for CERASTONE, an exterior wall material using granulated ceramics
 
Established Yamamoto Yogyo Laboratories in Tagawa, Higashi-Yodogawa-ku, Osaka Prefecture
1956
Developed CERASKIN (spray-on coating of granulated ceramics) and began sales
 
Began manufacture, sales, and installation in Shibata-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City
1961
Moved headquarters and factory to Nishi-Awaji, Higashi-Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City
 
Reorganized into corporation, starting Yamamoto Yogyo Kako Co., Ltd., with a capitalization of two million yen
1964
Set up Seto Factory in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture
1965
Established Tokyo branch office
1968
Moved factory to Higashi Bepu, Settsu City, Osaka Prefecture (site area: 8,000 m2) and began production
1969
Hiromichi Yamamoto assumes position of president
1977
Factory certified under Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI)
1982
Set up production facilities (site area: 11,500 m2) at Haio, Saiji, Fukusaki-cho, Kanzaki Township, Hyogo Prefecture, and moved Head Office to Minami-Suita, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture
1985
Merged Original Series colored ceramic aggregate finishing materials under the Color Ceramics brand
1991
Developed U-NEX sheet-formed imitation stone interior/exterior wall covering, and began sales
1992
Constructed new building and moved Head Office (General Affairs Department and Engineering Department) to 41-20 Toyotsu-cho, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture
1994
Developed KOTEFINE trowel-type finish coatings and began sales
1997
Developed MOLDFOAM construction and building landscape material (formwork with the feel of stone material) and began sales

Developed Reiso diatomaceous earth interior finish paint and began sales

Developed Best Refine, a roof coating of water-based silicone blended with Color Ceramics, and began sales
 
Head Office, Osaka Branch Office, and Fukusaki Factory gain ISO9001:2000 certification

Developed GOOD CERA-G CAST and GOOD CERA-G ROLLER elastic silicone non-top stone-like paint, and began sales
